Autonomous Forklift Technology

Robots Now! autonomous forklifts use LIDAR-based natural navigation to move through warehouses without magnetic tape, reflectors, or QR codes. The BrightEye fleet management system coordinates your entire robot fleet in real-time, integrating with WMS, ERP, and MES platforms. All 18 models feature 360-degree safety systems designed for mixed human-robot environments.

Core Technology

💻

BrightEye Fleet Management

Cloud-based fleet management platform coordinates all autonomous vehicles in real-time, providing scheduling, monitoring, and analytics.

📡

LIDAR Natural Navigation

No magnetic tape, reflectors, or QR codes required. Robots build and update their own maps using LIDAR sensors.

📶

5G / Wi-Fi Connectivity

High-speed wireless communication for real-time robot control, with sub-100ms emergency stop response times.

💾

WMS / ERP Integration

Standard APIs integrate with your existing Warehouse Management System, ERP, and MES platforms.

🛡

360° Safety Systems

Multi-layer safety with LIDAR, cameras, and bumper sensors designed for mixed human-robot environments.

🌏

Remote Monitoring

Monitor and manage your fleet from anywhere via the BrightEye web dashboard and mobile app.

Network Architecture

The autonomous forklift network consists of three layers: the cloud-hosted BrightEye management platform, a local Multi-Access Edge Computing (MEC) node for real-time robot control, and the robots themselves communicating via 5G or Wi-Fi. Emergency stop signals propagate in under 100 milliseconds, and fleet coordination handles dynamic path planning for up to 100+ vehicles simultaneously.

System Integration

Our complete robotic forklift ecosystem integrates with your existing infrastructure: Robot Control System (MES), Warehouse Management (WMS/ERP), vision-based AGVs, robotic arms, packing machines, elevators, and conveyor systems. All systems connect via standard APIs and can be deployed alongside your human workforce for hybrid operations.

Navigation Technology Comparison

There are four main navigation methods for autonomous forklifts. Robots Now! uses LIDAR natural navigation, which offers the best balance of accuracy, flexibility, and low ongoing maintenance cost.

Method Infrastructure Required Accuracy Flexibility Ongoing Cost
LIDAR Natural Nav None ±10 mm High — adapts to changes Low
Magnetic Tape Floor-mounted tape ±5 mm Low — fixed routes only High (tape wear)
Reflector-based Mounted reflectors ±10 mm Medium Medium
QR Code Floor QR codes ±10 mm Low — fixed grid Medium (code wear)
