Trust & Compliance
Autonomous warehouse equipment operates inside Australian regulatory, safety, and operational frameworks that demand specific compliance evidence and accountability. This page summarises Robots Now!'s posture across the dimensions that warehouse operators, insurers, regulators, and procurement teams care about.
Safety & Regulatory Compliance
AS/NZS ISO 3691-4
Every autonomous forklift we deploy is supplied with a manufacturer's compliance declaration against AS/NZS ISO 3691-4:2023 — the Australian/NZ-adopted safety standard for driverless industrial trucks. Functional safety verification reports for safety-rated functions (emergency stop, pedestrian detection, speed limitation) accompany every deployment. Read the standard guide →
AS 2359 Awareness
For mixed-fleet sites where manual forklifts (governed by AS 2359 series) operate alongside autonomous trucks (AS/NZS ISO 3691.4), our deployment includes the dual-standard interaction documentation that SafeWork inspectors expect. Both standards apply.
Safe Work Australia Model WHS
Deployments align with Safe Work Australia model WHS regulations 213-218 (powered mobile plant). State-specific regulators (SafeWork NSW, WorkSafe Victoria, WHSQ, WorkSafe WA, SafeWork SA) reference these consistently.
Cat 3 PL d Functional Safety
Safety-rated functions on our autonomous forklifts meet ISO 13849 Performance Level d (PL d) at Category 3 architecture — the standard for high-consequence pedestrian-interaction risk in warehouse environments.
Cybersecurity Posture
ASD Essential Eight Alignment
Fleet management deployments align with the Australian Signals Directorate's Essential Eight cyber baseline — application control, patch management, multi-factor authentication on admin access, and regular encrypted backups of fleet configuration data. Cybersecurity guide →
On-Premises Deployment Available
For sensitive environments (defence supply, financial services, healthcare cleanrooms), fleet management can be deployed entirely on customer-controlled infrastructure with no cloud dependency. IRAP-aligned controls available on request.
Encryption in Transit and at Rest
All fleet management API traffic uses TLS 1.2+. Truck-to-server communications use mutual certificate authentication. Stored fleet configuration, maps, and operational data are encrypted at rest.
Vendor Remote Access Controls
When customer support requires remote access to a deployed system, sessions require multi-factor authentication, are time-limited, fully audit-logged, and require explicit customer approval per session. No persistent vendor VPN tunnels.
Insurance & Documentation
Insurance Documentation Pack
Every customer receives an insurance documentation pack including manufacturer compliance declaration, site-specific risk assessment template, functional safety verification reports, training records framework, and incident reporting log structure. Underwriters use this to bind cover. Insurance guide →
Mixed-Fleet Operating Procedures
For sites where humans and autonomous trucks share zones, deployment includes documented operating procedures, zone marking standards, and training materials for all interacting staff (operators, supervisors, maintainers, contractors, visitors). Mixed-fleet guide →
Annual Verification Service
Standard maintenance contracts include annual functional safety verification — re-confirming that emergency stop response time, pedestrian detection range, and speed limitation enforcement still meet AS/NZS ISO 3691-4 specification.
Audit Trail for Compliance
Fleet management captures every truck movement with cryptographically signed timestamp, location, load identification, and operator interaction. The audit trail satisfies WMS compliance, customs bonded warehouse requirements (ABF Section 79), AS9100 traceability, and CEIV Pharma cold chain documentation.
